The MINAB welcomes the initiative of the Faith and Social Cohesion Unit of the Charity Commission to run adverts for the first time on satellite television channels during the holy and blessed month of Ramadan encouraging mosques and Muslim organisations that may be charitable to register as charities with the Charity Commission. These adverts are being broadcast on Islam Channel, Noor TV, Bangla TV, and Iqra TV.

Maulana Imam Shahid Raza, the Chair of the MINAB said, " We welcome this initiative and join the Charity Commission in urging all mosques and Muslim charitable organisations to register with the Charity Commission. The MINAB remains able and willing to assist any mosque or Muslim training/ vocational institution involved in the training of Imams and Islamic teachers that are charitable in nature in the registration process.
