The discussion expanded on the role of faith leaders to defuse intolerance, hate and twisted ideologies, with the HE Chief Imam of Ghana talking about his experience in Ghana, and Africa.  He emphasised the importance of educating the young people, especially in Ghana as they are the future generation. He furthered this point with the mention of an orphanage he had built, where children from all faiths are welcome.

There was also a lively discussion of how faith leaders can defuse the threat of a minority of extremists and how we can move forward in implementing our wider goal of building a better society. Chief Imam of Ghana mentioned in the discussion how in Ghana , there are communities where different faiths and Muslims from different schools of thought live side by side without any tension and how people should aim achieve this kind of tolerance.
