Masajid can play a vital role in promoting and sharing the true values and principles of Islam. Masajid are not only places of worship but community hubs for all humans.

In order to enhance the efficiency of our masajid, MINAB will hold educational workshops for imams and mosque leaders in three main zones of Britain: South, North and Midlands as follows:

Aims and Objectives of the Workshops

1. To maximize the effectiveness of our mosques

2. To explore and promote the importance of working together in a religiously and ethnically diverse society

3. To enhance youth involvement in mosque management

Joseph Interfaith Foundation in association with Imams Against Domestic Abuse and the Central mosque, London, has set up a major seminar called “Domestic Abuse: A hidden evil”.


A senior Rabbi as well as Jewish Women’s Aid will be speaking about domestic abuse in the Jewish community and how they confront it.

The major aim of the seminar is to inform the community about misunderstanding religious interpretations on behaviour towards women, and how the community can help and support the abused women.

April 2014, London: In the context of the World Interfaith Harmony Week, The Matheson Trust hosts the premiere of the documentary directed by Mustafa Gouverneur to register this initiative, followed by a question and answer session with Reverend Prof. Kemmyo Taira Sato and Dr Reza Shah-Kazemi.

This event will be a unique opportunity to ask questions on this historic initiative.
